Take a half-day fishing trip or a boat trip. Oman's waters are rich in marine beauty. Coral fish, lobsters and prawns can be seen in the clear water. Flocks of dolphins can also be seen here.

DAY 3. WAHIBA SANDS
An off-road vehicle journey towards the Wahiba Desert (also now called Sharqiya Sands). If you prefer, it can be self-drive with off-roading (different landscapes, sand dunes) or a chauffeur-driven drive. Both are accompanied by a guide. Stop at Bimah Sinkhole (sinkhole, a beautiful natural site).
Picnic lunch in a spectacular location.
On the way, a visit to the nomadic tombs of the impressive Salma Plateau. There are traces of Bronze Age settlement - over 90 towers belonging to the Umm Al-Nar culture (2000-2700 BC).

DAY 4. WAHIBA SANDS – JEBEL AKHDAR
Trekking in the Wadi Oasis Gorge (a picturesque gorge where crystal-clear water winds its way between sheer cliffs). Continue by car through the sands of Wahib to the 'green mountains' of Jebel Akhdar.
Upon arrival you will stay in a luxury hotel with excellent spa and pool, on the edge of the cliff with fantastic views of the mountain scenery.
Excursion to the ancient town of Nizwa, surrounded by date and banana plantations. Nizwa is the ancient inland capital and an important fort. You will visit one of the oldest markets in the country and see the fort. An animal auction is held at the market early on Friday mornings.
Continue along the serpentine road to the cliffside village of Soqorah. The village itself can only be reached on foot along a mountain path for over 500 years. Hiking to the village and waterfalls.

DAY 6. JEBEL AKHDAR
At the hotel you can try out via ferrata, archery, stroll into local Bedouin villages (small mountain farms, farms, rose terraces, abandoned villages) and relax in the magnificent spa.
